Bus terlambat menjemput dari jadwal 14.30 menjadi 16.05 di Terminal Pondok Pinang. Rencana pergantian bus di loket Palembang tidak jadi sehingga membuang waktu. Perjalanan berhenti istirahat 3–4 kali dan menggunakan kapal reguler selama 3–4 jam. Akibatnya, tiba di Jambi yang seharusnya pukul 10 pagi menjadi pukul 16.30 keesokan harinya.

Selama perjalanan terasa tidak nyaman karena banyak pengamen dan pedagang asongan masuk ke dalam bus, tidak ada pramugara atau pramugari, serta tidak diberikan minuman dan snack saat berangkat.

Harga tiket double decker lebih mahal namun kualitas lebih buruk dari standar. Sepanjang perjalanan bau rokok terus terasa meskipun sudah meminta bantuan staf. Hal ini mengganggu penumpang dengan masalah pernapasan, bahkan ada anak kecil yang muntah. Pelayanan dan kualitas udara dalam bus perlu ditingkatkan agar penumpang tidak kapok menggunakan layanan ini.
