Booking is simple! Enter your origin and destination ports (e.g., Merak to Bakauheni), select your travel date, and choose whether you are traveling as a Passenger (Pedestrian) or with a Vehicle. Follow the steps to select your sailing time, enter passenger details, and complete the booking online.

Do I need to create an account to book?

While you can book as a guest, creating an account allows you to track your bookings, access "My Trips" for easy boarding, and receive exclusive ferry discounts.

Can I book as a pedestrian (without a vehicle)?

Yes. Select the "Passenger" option in the search widget. Fares for pedestrians are charged per person.

Why does the app ask for my GPS/Location?

Per Indonesian maritime regulations (ASDP), we are required to verify that the booking is made within a valid service area. You will be prompted to "Share Location" during the booking flow to proceed with the ticket issuance.

Is a printout of the ticket mandatory?

No. You will receive an E-Ticket (m-Ticket) via email and in the "My Trips" section of the app. You can simply show the QR code on your phone at the port entrance.

How early should I arrive at the port?

It is highly recommended to arrive at the port at least 60 to 90 minutes before your scheduled departure time to allow for vehicle queuing and document verification.

Can I reschedule or cancel my ferry ticket?

Currently online rescheduling and cancellations are not supported directly through the redBus app. Please ensure your travel details and time slots are correct before completing the payment. For emergency assistance, contact our customer support.

What happens if I miss my scheduled ferry?

Ferry tickets are generally valid only for the specific time slot booked. If you miss your sailing, you may need to purchase a new ticket at the port, subject to availability. You can reach out to the terminal counter to check the possibility of boarding another ferry

What payment methods are available?

Are there any additional fees?
