PT. Barumun

Autobus Company (PO) PT. Barumun is a special bus transportation facility that was first established in Medan on January 4 1985. In 1985, a second branch was opened in Sibuhuan. PT Barumun was taken over by Ir. Bahrensah A. Hsb without changing the organizational structure that existed in 1995. PO Barumun's ability to continue serving the community to this day even though it has changed ownership and name is worthy of praise. Barumun's efficient bus transportation services, skilled drivers and well-trained staff ensure safety and comfort when traveling.

Barumun Fleet

The Barumun fleet uses a Mercedes Benz OH 1521 Intercooler engine and chassis with a Cipta Karya body. Services are divided into three classes, namely non-AC economy class with a capacity of 44 passengers in a 2-3 configuration, AC Toilet class with a capacity of 48 passengers in a 2-2 configuration and Executive class with a capacity of 38 seats.

In addition, Barumun's fleet is also known for its large buses modified by the company's team of mechanics. The bus from a double axel 4x2 (six wheels) configuration was made into a triple axel 6x2 (eight wheels) by adding one axle to the rear of the two tires.

For the Medan–Pasir Pengaraian route, the first bus leaves at 14.00 and the last bus at 17.30.
